Philosophy
The overall aim of the Graduate Level 6 Diploma Information Systems Management is to develop professionals who can understand the business challenges of an enterprise and conceive and manage solutions which are ICT dependent. This course is designed to produce graduates who will be able to integrate their ICT skills with their knowledge of business operations and environments to support an enterprise to achieve competitive advantage. Also the programme aims to educate and develop students in those broad and deep aspects of information systems concerned with their implementation in a wide variety of organisational environments. The focus is on the utilisation of technology by human beings in an information context. The programme regards information, `systems and `technology of equal importance and it emphasises the human aspects and human environment of information systems, examining the technology in the context of human activities and purposes.

Programme Aims
| The main aims of the Graduate Diploma in Information Systems Management are to: | ·Give students an understanding of theories and principles that are imported from different disciplines to underpin the development and management of web based Information Systems. Information about Assessment Regulations
Completion of all assessments are mandatory in order to obtain an overall final grade for the unit. To be awarded the Graduate Diploma in Information Systems Management, a student will be assessed and graded on all assessments.
