In Raid Shadow Legends, we frequently have access to different types of summoning events for our Shards, usually, we will see one every single weekend, with the odd one being thrown in on Tuesdays and Thursdays – This is usually in line with Clan vs Clan Tournaments, however, sometimes do appear on weeks where there is not a Clan vs Clan running.
There are different types of Summon Events, and today we’re going to break them down for you so that you can get an understanding of when you should, and when you should not be pulling your shards.
One thing to note, in addition to these events, there are Champion Chase Tournaments and Summon Rush Events, which are typically required for each monthly fusion (1 of each) – So for those of you who are Free to play / Low spend, it is usually advised to hold off for these in order to complete the active fusion.
Summon Rush Events:
The way these events work is simple, you get points PER shard you open, regardless of what they contain
- Mystery Shard – 1 Point
- Ancient Shard – 20 Points
- Void Shard – 120 Points
- Sacred Shard – 500 Points
Champion Chase Tournaments:
These differ from the Summon Rush Events, in the fact that instead of per shard, you get points per Champion you acquire from any means, whether that be shards, fragments, campaign or even the market.
Affinity Champions:
- Common – 1 Point
- Uncommon – 1 Point
- Rare – 10 Points
- Epic – 250 Points
- Legendary – 500 Points
Void Champions:
- Rare – 50 Points
- Epic – 350 Points
- Legendary – 650 Points
2x Events
These are most often the best time to pull your shards, to get the most value out of them, with the chances to get Epic and Legendary Champions being doubled, meaning each ancient/void shard goes up to a 1% chance of a legendary Champion, whilst Sacred shards rise to 12%!
These events are typically on a two-weekly cycle, so every second weekend we will have a 2x Event, rotating between the 3 different shard types, meaning between each 2x Event of the same type – there will be a 6-week saving period.
10x Events
10x Events unfortunately have been becoming less and less popular with the addition of more Champions over the years, to explain the events simply however, the way these events work is IF you are lucky enough to pull a Legendary Champion, you are 10x more likely to acquire specific Champions that are boosted during the event, this is usually a few legendaries and a few Epics at one time, although occasionally we’ll see single champions on a 10x boost, these are typically alongside other events such as 2x or during the mid-week summons.
2-for-1 Summons
These summons always feel very exciting, as if you do get a legendary champion, you’ll get a second one for free with it! However with the rates of getting a legendary being normal during these events (0.5% for Ancient/Void and 6% for Sacred Shards) you often do end up opening a lot of shards to trigger the event, however if you are close to your pity system kicking in, or get very lucky – these events can be very worthwhile.
These events typically fall on mid-week summons and therefore cannot contribute to Fusion events, and are usually without Summon Rush or Champion Chase Events.
Guaranteed Champion Events
These have been growing in popularity over the last year, as they’ve been much more frequent than they used to be, and they are truly great because regardless of what you pull from your shards, you know exactly what you will get from the final shard, whilst the Champions aren’t always the greatest, sometimes there are some truly incredible Champions up for grabs.
Many players opt to save their shards exclusively for these events so that they’re able to pick up every single guaranteed Champion, and not gamble their shards.
We have a full list of previous Guaranteed Champions for those who would like to see what has been included in the past.
