Issue Templates are issue submission templates you create for commonly addressed issues. They allow you to pre-define appropriate information and values for those issues, such as the Subject, Description, Issue Type, Subtype, Priority, Email Subscribers, Attachments, etc.

Export is available in the R4J Tree View, Coverage View, Traceability View and Baseline View. You first select a folder or issue, then in the R4J menu you select Export > Export Template. Finally you choose a template from the list of available templates. The Excel file is generated and can then be saved locally.

Note that your templates have to be of the Epic issue type to make this work. To create such a template, click the Create button, choose Templates as your target project and Epic as your issue type, provide a summary, the Epic Name, description, and the rest of the needed fields and click Create.
