We remodeled our entire kitchen 5 years ago and purchased multiple Kitchenaid Products. Unfortunately, we purchased a $1,499 Kitchenaid Convection Oven that lost its Main Control Panel right at five years and we are now without an oven for well over 3 months. Note, that we spent $4,300 in total with KItchenaid. Kitchenaid is owned by Whirlpool.

Even though we have had the Kitchenaid recommended (and authorized) service provider in our home to fix the problem (at our expense), we have made no progress. KItchenaid has taken the stance that the product is no longer under Warranty and the Replacement Part is discontinued, so our oven is unfixable. My wife has spent hours on the phone with Kitchenaid and with their Service Provider trying to understand why the Oven can not be fixed. However, we still have a recently remodeled kitchen, with NO oven and no End in Sight. Kitchenaid/Whirlpool is taking ZERO ownership in getting this resolved and has offered ZERO reimbursem*nt for anything. We do NOT Recommend Kitchenaid Products. The Oven is Model # KOSE500ESS.

Last September, we purchased an electric, single oven, 30” KitchenAid stove. I prefer gas but this house has a popcorn ceiling in an open concept house..so everywhere. The first thing we noticed was the awful smell when we turned the oven on. “Insulation” we were told. It still stinks four months later! The long list of deficiencies includes: the oven door is open more at the top than the bottom when closed, the oven timer rings only once which is useless (unlike our previous stove), the broiler drawer does not close unless shoved hard, the drawer is so low that the vacuum floor-wand no longer fits even a few inches, and the control panel on top has to be Pounded to get it to respond. I will never buy KitchenAid again!!

I purchased a KitchenAid Dual Fuel Downdraft Range on March 25, 2021. Since then I have had four different service calls; the last in July of 2022. I asked if they had the equivalent of an automobile Lemon Law. They said they did not, and they extended my warranty by six months. Most recently the parts of the touchpad stopped responding (timer, clock and the numbers 1,4 and 7). This severely limits what can be cooked int he oven. I called Kitchen Aid to see if they would help rectify the situation. They offered to schedule an out of warranty repair. After spending close to $4000 and having had problems with the unit since week one I declined their offer. In my opinion we were sold a defective product and I think they should replace the unit or fix it.

Do not buy a KitchenAid wall oven if you are a serious baker. Uneven baking results. Temperature is not consistent. It’s either too hot or not hot enough. I’ve done all the calibration as directed in the manual without helping as the temperature fluctuates so much. While I will miss the beautiful black stainless, I need an oven that works as it should. I’m giving up & buying a new oven!

We built a new house in 2014 and put all Kitchen aid appliances in our home. We have a double oven mounted in the wall, refrigerator, dishwasher, cooktop and hood. We have replaced 2 refrigerators (first one in 2016, and then that one went out in 2017) with NO help from warranty and finally just bought a Samsung. The dishwasher has leaked since we bought it, after hours and hours on customer support hold they told us it wasn't a warranty issue, we had to buy a Samsung. The double oven electrical board went out now in 2022 and they have been on back order for the part for 3 months... Having to now replace the double oven because the "part" is no longer available. I have NEVER had a good or even "ok" experience with customer service (hold times are ALWAYS around an hour). DO NOT BUY ANYTHING KITCHENAID. Read the reviews because you can find this same complaint all over the internet.

Purchased 6 high-end KitchenAid appliances. 3 of the 6 broke within 7 months. Kitchen Aid of course tried to get away with not fixing it by claiming misuse. Agreed to fix 2 of the 3 malfunctioning units after a lot of pushing. Horrible product. Don't expect any warranty help!

We bought our Kitchen Aid oven to replace the Jenn-air that was in our house when we bought it. We have had the stove one year 3 months and it completely stopped working, in the middle of supper. I am so disappointed. Paid a good chunk of money for it. What a hunk of junk. Never again.

I bought a KitchenAid range for a rental. The oven has been used rarely and the regulator went out causing an expensive repair and a part wait time of over 6 weeks. I would definitely recommend anyone considering a KitchenAid range to do their homework.

Kitchen Aid Gas Stoves seem to have issues with self-clean cycle. Shutting down cycle, blank display and door locked until thermal fuse is replaced. Kitchen Aid service representative who replaced control board (twice!) suggested not to use cleaning cycle. I thought that is what was a part of what I paid for when purchasing this expensive gas stove.

The design of the microwave section of the oven has the door opening down. You cannot remove it. Unless you are 6 feet tall and or an orangutan reaching the back of the microwave to clean the area that gets the dirtiest is next to impossible when you are a normal size person. In addition, periodically it decides that when you’re microwaving something, it just it doesn’t want to and it shuts off.
