Excellent ERP to manage your business operations
We used to use spreadsheets before switching to Odoo and the savings in time and effort, plus the accuracy of the information is the main value we receive. Particularly, the Recruitment module helps us to configure an Application Tracking System, and now, we have visibility over KPIs that before was not possible. The implementation of an extension of the CRM module allow us to customize easily the system to our needs too.
PROS
Odoo provides my company with all the modules needed to manage the business. It is easy to set up, intuitive and the modules are well integrated.
CONS
The Community edition provides a lot of built-in features, but since version 9, Odoo has been moving features from Community version to Enterprise, so I could see some of them, which I was using, unavailable in recent versions.
Reason for choosing Odoo
Because provides more modules. The availability in our market of Python developers to extend and customize the platform was another reason.
Reasons for switching to Odoo
Because managing business operations in spreadsheets it is extremely time-consuming. It requires a lot of coordination and is prone to errors.

My perspective on the impact of Odoo on business management and decision making.
Odoo has improved the efficiency in my business by automating processes and facilitating the flow of information between different areas. In addition, thanks to the integration of data in real time and the possibility of generating detailed reports, Odoo allows me to make informed decisions based on concrete data.
PROS
The ability to select and install applications based on the specific needs of my business is one of the most outstanding features of Odoo. I love being able to tailor the system to my unique operations and processes. Furthermore, Odoo integrates all the applications in a cohesive way, which facilitates the flow of information between the different departments and functions of my business. This has improved efficiency and decision making in my company.
CONS
Sometimes I experience slow system performance, especially when many users are working simultaneously. This may be due to the cloud implementation or the version of Odoo you are using. Although the user interface is intuitive, some features and applications in Odoo can have a steeper learning curve. However, once this initial hurdle is overcome, the software becomes easier to use.

Not So Good for Website Development!
My overall experience with Odoo is not good. The app works very slow, everytime we edit something on the landing page we need to save after each edit because this tool hangs a lot. The alignment is not good. Socials get disconnected automatically. For web design and development very less features are available, very limited types of blocks available to add. Templates are less. Color pallette is limited. No feature to add saved items. And a lot more to go!
PROS
There is not much to like about ODOO so far. Although i still use it (Client's Need). The one thing which i like about Odoo is that it is simple, Formal, and IT based tool where we can manage our entire companies operations, website, product, socials all at one place.
CONS
I do not like odoo, very poor tool, a lot of development required. Primary thing is that it should work smoothly. It hangs/lags a lot. Nothing gets saved with single click. Uurrhhh!!

Odoo: A Flexible, Scalable Business Management Platform
I appreciate the software's modularity and adaptability, which permit me to tailor the platform to my organization's specific requirements. I have access to a comprehensive set of tools for managing various aspects of our business operations thanks to the software's numerous modules and features.Although the user interface and technical complexity of some of the modules have presented some challenges, I have found that the available resources, such as documentation and support, have been helpful in overcoming these obstacles. Additionally, I value the global user and developer community's ongoing contributions to software enhancement.Overall, I believe that Odoo is a powerful and scalable software platform that can assist businesses of all sizes and industries in better managing their operations.
PROS
There are a number of things about Odoo that I like as an employee who uses it. First and foremost, I appreciate that it is an open-source platform, making it extremely customizable and flexible. Because of this, I am able to customize the software to meet the particular requirements of my organization and to modify it as our requirements change over time.I also like the software's modular design, which lets me choose and use only the modules that are relevant to my job and duties. Because of this, the software is easier to use and more streamlined, and I don't have to deal with too many features and functions.Additionally, I like that Odoo offers both cloud and on-premise deployment options, allowing me to select the method of deployment that best suits the requirements and preferences of my organization.Overall, I believe that Odoo is a highly adaptable and scalable software platform that can assist businesses of all sizes and sectors in better managing their operations.
CONS
As an employee who uses Odoo, I believe that a few things could be improved. Something that I like least about the product is that the UI can be to some degree confusing and overpowering at times, especially for new clients who are curious about the product. Although the software's modular design is generally advantageous, it can make it challenging to navigate the various modules and features, which can be frustrating.Another problem I've encountered is that configuring and using some of the software's modules might necessitate more technical knowledge. Even though there are resources to help users with implementation and support, it can still be hard to use all of the features if you don't know a lot about the technology behind them.I have found that the expense of a portion of the undertaking releases can be a bit high, especially for little and moderate sized organizations with restricted financial plans. Even though the community edition is free, it might not have all the features and functions that some businesses need, making it hard to justify the enterprise edition's price.
