This application is for businesses requesting Operating Authorityas a freight forwarder in interstate or foreign commerce. Freightforwarders arrange transportation of goods by FMCSA-licensedcarriers. Freight forwarders issue bills of lading to shippers andare responsible for the loss of or damage to the goods.
