PG Diploma in Emergency Medical Services (PGDEMS) (2024)

Diploma in Emergency Medicine is a Diploma level Medicine course. Emergency Medicine is a competency-based training program that is conducted in the workplace. Candidates are required to work 12 months in an emergency department under the supervision of an approved ACEM Supervisor.

This program trains doctors & nurses in the field of Emergency Medical Services, focusing on pre-hospital care and creating awareness and new services in society. In the course, candidates will be expected to undertake six months in an anesthetics term or three months in anesthetics and three months in ICU terms.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates should have completed MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BNYS, BUMS, BPT, BSc. Nursing, BSc. Emergency Care & Trauma Care & Technology or it's Equivalent with Valid MCI registration or state registration from a recognized university board.

2. Some of the very reputed institutes conduct entrance examinations for admission based on marks in the Qualifying Examination followed by Personal Interviews.
