In this latest edition of the SAP Monitoring Tools comparison matrix, version 5.0 (May 2022), we've added Avantra to the list, having waited for a couple of years since the company rebranded from its former Syslink Xandria solution. The list of solutions is now fairly comprehensive if you are looking for viable alternatives to SAP native tools. In August 2013, Gartner published an interesting article "When Will Your SAP Basis Operations Team Get the Automation Tools That They Need?" The answer should be yesterday, but today in 2019, 6 years later, SAP Basis teams are still asking the same questions. Users and Business teams are getting better applications, and Functional and Development teams are getting better tools, so don't Basis teams deserve better operations solutions?
