SAP Teched 2019 for Integration (1)

September 16, 2019 9 minute read

So next week is the SAP Teched Season kicking off with the event in Las Vegas. I’m really looking forward to the conference and learn what is happening in the integration space.

SAP Teched 2019 for Integration (2)

There are two cools parts of Teched. Learn what is on the roadmap and try some cool functions out with the hands-on and meeting with other SAP users and consultants and learning what they are doing.

I know integration is a big and broad topic covering message processing to UI and IoT. I’m mostly focused on the message/processed based integration, but it is interesting to know where the other approaches are moving.

This year there is a lot of integration relevant sessions. So I’m really looking forward to the events.

My normal approach for meeting with people has been to attend the sessions with a focus on integration as you can see below. I do recognize that one of the things that I enjoy most is to meet with other integration developers. That is where I get to understand what other people are doing that works.

I would like to remove some of the randomnesses in the process or at least get to talk with as many as possible. That is why I’m trying something new this year.

The plan is to register to schedule some meetup at different times during the event. Then it will hopefully be possible to talk with other people working with SAP Integration.

I also hope to schedule at the meetup on Monday afternoon for some more time to talk.

In Barcelona, we already have a place to meet. For Las Vegas, we will see what is possible. For Bangalore, I need someone to organize the event there.

You can signup here, it is free.

I normally write some of the sessions that I’m looking forward too. This year there is a lot of sessions that are really interesting from the integration perspective. There are also two learning journeys to help in the area.

Update: 17 Sep there is now a blog on the full content of the CPI suite.

Here you have the full session list.
