Fortunately, people won't have to guess anymore, because Chick-fil-A revealed the recipe for the sauce — and it's actually a pretty simple combination of ingredients.

According to a tweet from the brand itself, Chick-fil-A sauce is literally just a mixture of different sauces. More specifically, those sauces are honey mustard, barbecue sauce, and ranch — three condiments that you probably already have sitting in your fridge right now. So even though there's obviously nothing like eating the real thing, now you can dip your food in Chick-fil-A sauce literally any time you want by making it at home yourself.

Of course, that's not to say that this is brand-new information, considering the fact that Chick-fil-A's original tweet is dated back to August 2012. Still, let it serve as a simple reminder for the next time you find yourself questioning just what makes that Chick-fil-A sauce so irresistible.
