"I got this recipe from a friend since I'm a big fan of white chocolate and I loved it! I'm not sure where she got it, but I thought it was good enough to post here for anyone who's looking for a good cookie recipe!"

How much is 1 cup of butter in grams? I have made these twice and they turned out completely different each time. Delicious but the consistency was off the second time.

Would love to see the old version of the recipe for Perkins Potato Pancakes. They use to serve them crispy with fresh chopped onion and sour cream. Had a serving back in August and they were hashbrowns, partially fried and very thick.

Excelllent cookie. But, as past reviewers have stated. The 300 degree oven won't work for most people. Even baking them at 15 minutes won't do the trick. 350 for 10-12 will. Other than that...awesome cookie.

Very addictive! Everyone loved them. Even my husband who usually doesn't care for "gourmet" cookies kept coming back for more. My butter had softened too much, so they spread a little more than I think they would have normally. I added an extra 1/4 cup of flour to help compensate since I like a cakey cookie. I already have the ingredients to make them again! Delicious! Update: When I prepared this recipe again, I made sure to not let the butter soften too much. They turned out much better. I still added an extra 1/4 cup of flour out of personal preference and they were perfect, IMHO.

These were wonderful! These are my friend's favorite type of cookie so I made a batch for her birthday. She loved them and said they were the best she'd ever had! Added in a 1/2 cup of oats for extra texture/fiber and reduced the amount of nuts to about 1/2 cup. Thanks for such a great recipe!

I found the dough had too much butter, I added a lot of flour to my second batch. If I make them again, I would only use 1 stick of butter...not 1 cup.

I added an 1/8 cup flour. I made large cookies so used 1 to 1 1/2 tbsp dough per cookie. Baked at 350 for 10 minutes. Recipe is definitely a keeper.

I used raw cane sugar instead of white.

These cookies are very good. I did add a 1/4 cup of flour. Only used 1/2 cup brown sugar one cup white sugar to let the white chocolate and nuts be the star. I also cooked at 3:50 for 10 minutes with a convention oven. Will make again.

i didn't have any macadamia nuts on hand so i used walnuts instead and they were absolutely delicious.

I actually only had 1 tsp. Of vanilla extract, so I improvised by adding about 1/4 of a tsp. Of almond extract. They turned out lovely.
