The FreedomWon battery is compatible with a variety of inverters. For a battery to be compatible with an inverter, the batterie's BMS - Battery management system, must be able to communicate with the inverter. Various important information needs to be communicated to the inverter such as Sate of charge of the battery. When to stop charging the battery because it is full, and when to stop inverting and drawing power from the battery because it is almost empty.
The following list of inverters are currently (2019) compatible with the FreedomWon battery,

- SMA Sunny Island Battery Inverters
- Ingeteam Sun Storage Battery Inverters
- Victron Multiplus and Quattro Battery Inverters and MPPT Controllers via the Color Control GX and Venus system controllers
- Studer
- Imeon
- Solax (still in testing phase)
- MLT Power (mid 2018 models onwards only – please confirm you are buying the right model)
Other inverters and charge controllers can also be used with the battery, by hardwiring up communication cables to control the battery, inverter and charge controllers.
FreedomWon offers one of the longest warranties of all available battery manufacturers. They offer a warranty of 10 years! This just shows the faith they have in their product.
