The Jordan Visa policy to travel within the country varies depending on your nationality. That said, citizens of nearly sixty countries require a Jordan Travel Visa to enter the country.

Countries Exempted from Jordan Visa Requirements
Only citizens of a few countries are exempt from the Jordan Visa Requirements to enter the country and are eligible for visa-free access.
These countries are Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestinian Territories, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and United Arab Emirates.
Do I Need a Jordan Transit Visa?
If you will be in the airport for less than 24 hours in Jordan and do not plan to leave the airport, then you do not need to pay for a Jordan transit visa. These will be issued on arrival at the airport. Please ensure you advise passport control that you are transiting through the country.
How To Get A Jordan Visa?
There are multiple ways to fill out the Jordan Tourist Visa application form, including directly from your local Jordanian embassy.

Can You Get a Jordan Visa On Arrival?
Yes, this is a possibility for some, depending on your nationality. U.S. citizens may secure a 30-day Jordan visa at the airport on arrival or apply beforehand for the Visitor Visa.
Please note, however, that Jordanian visas are not issued on arrival at the King Hussein/Allenby Bridge land border crossing. You must carry a valid Jordanian Visa or special entry permit when you get to the border crossing.
Can I Get A Jordan Visa Extension?
Under normal circ*mstances, extending your Jordan Tourist visa requires you to register at a Jordanian police station before it expires.
Those who got a visa on arrival to the country will most likely only receive a 60-day extension; however, if you had applied for an Embassy visa, it’s possible to get another six months added to your visa.
That said, it’s important to remember that if you do not register with the Jordanian police and end up overstaying your Jordan visa, you will be charged a fine on departure. It is usually calculated as $2 per day that you overstayed.
What are the Travel Requirements To Enter Jordan?
Aside from requiring a Jordan visa, all travelers to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will also need to have a Jordan Health Declaration Form, which you can get through iVisa as well.

Jordan’s COVID-19 Requirements & Restrictions
Those visiting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan are not required to present a negative PCR test on arrival.
