MRP Type V2 - Automatic reorder point with ext reqmts (2024)

Hello Team!

This iis in 4.6C.

I entered the MRP type V2 which is 'Automatic reorder point with ext reqmts'. Lot size EX.

I ran MD03 - it gave an error message saying that "Materila XXXXXXX for plant YYYY cannot be planned automatically'

I brought in the 'Forecasting' view and entered "D' constant model. The MD03 did run with out any errors but there was no PR genetrated when I look at MD04.

Also , typically the 'Reorder' point qty field in the material master should get populated automatically with a qty and this did not happen. I had initially left it blank.

Do I need to enter the forecast values somewhere?

2) I removed V2 and gave V1 - manual re order point... and in the re order qty I gave 5. Ran MD03 and PR got created for 5 EA.

WHAT DO I DO TO MAKE THIS V2 WORK?
